Lindsay Clapp, Parks Project Coordinator provided a presentation concerning the redevelopment of Sunnyside Park and Raglan Park.

The Committee questioned the Parks Project Coordinator.

    Whereas the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee (O.A.A.C.) has participated in the development and review of the 2022 Year End and the 2023-2027 Oshawa Accessibility Plan, Report OAAC-23-12, dated March 16, 2023; and

    Whereas the O.A.A.C. endorses the 2022 Year End and the 2023-2027 Oshawa Accessibility Plan, Report OAAC-23-12,

    Therefore it be resolved that a copy of the 2022 Year End and the 2023-2027 Oshawa Accessibility Plan, Report OAAC-23-12 be forwarded to the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility-Accessibility Directorate of Ontario upon Council’s adoption of the plan.

    1. That the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee purchase T-shirts for ten (10) O.A.A.C. committee members; and,
    2. That the T-shirts be designed with the new O.A.A.C. logo in time for National AccessAbility Week; and,
    3. That the cost not to exceed $500.00; and,
    4. That the purchase be paid from the 2023 O.A.A.C. Operating Budget.
