OATAC-23-15 - 2023 Bike Month Working Group Report

• Moved by Rick Harrington
  1. That based on Report OATAC-23-15 concerning the Bike Month Working Group Report, June 2023 be proclaimed as Bike Month in the City of Oshawa; and,
  2. That based on Report OATAC-23-15, the Oshawa Active Transportation Advisory Committee request that information concerning Bike Month be shared on the City of Oshawa’s social media channels which includes a sign up option; and,
  3. That Part 2 of the Report OATAC-23-15 be endorsed as the Oshawa Active Transportation Advisory Committee’s activities for Bike Month; and,
  4. That June 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. be selected as the date for the City Council, City Staff, Citizen Ride; and,
  5. That June 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. be selected as the rain date for the City Council, City Staff, Citizen Ride; and,
  6. That the Oshawa Active Transportation Advisory Committee have two Oshawa Historical Rides which starts at Lakeview Park and encompasses Ed Broadbent Park, 2nd Marsh, Old Tannery, Knob Hill farms location; and,
  7. That the two Oshawa Historical Rides take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. and Monday, June 5, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
