    That the Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee recommend to the Economic and Development Services Committee:

    That pursuant to Correspondence OEAC-23-35 from the Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee inviting nominations for an individual and/or organization for the 2023 Environmental Achievement Awards, staff be authorized to submit Friends of Second Marsh to be nominated for the Dr. J. Murray Speirs Restoration Award.

    That based on Report OEAC-23-33 from the Road Salt Working Group:

    1. That the Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee approve the design and content of the road salt awareness postcard; and,
    2. That $300.00 of the 2023 Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee budget be allocated toward the cost of printing and shipping 300 copies of the postcard.

    That Emily Posteraro be appointed as Chair of the 2024 O.E.A.C. Work Plan and Budget Working Group.
