Friends of Second Marsh

 

Peter S. Taylor, President, Friends of Second Marsh, provided a presentation to the Committee regarding the 5-year fundraising campaign.

Members of the Committee questioned Peter Taylor.

Pattison Outdoor Advertising

 

Nathan Jankowski, Manager, Legislation and Permits Central Ontario, Pattison Outdoor Advertising provided a presentation to the Committee regarding two (2) proposed signs at 30 Park Road North and 1220 Simcoe Street North.

Members of the Committee questioned Nathan Jankowski.

    That the Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee recommend to the Economic and Development Services Committee:

    That based on Item OEAC-23-47 (formerly ED-23-154) concerning an application for a sign variance for outdoor advertising at 1220 Simcoe Street North, the Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee is concerned about the residents in the apartment building directly southeast of the signage being disturbed by the LED lights between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. during the winter months.
