Greg Pereira, Manager and Chris Leitch, Principal Planner, Regional Municipality of Durham provided a presentation concerning the Durham Meadoway Visioning Study.

The Committee questioned the Manager and Principal Planner, Regional Municipality of Durham.

Enez Perkins, Senior Manager, Corporate Strategic Initiatives provided a presentation concerning the Oshawa Strategic Plan 2024-2027. 

The Committee questioned the Senior Manager, Corporate Strategic Initiatives. 

David Billham, Manager, Parks, Planning and Development provided a presentation concerning the current and proposed future trial development.

    That Report OATAC-23-27, dated October 27, 2023 concerning information from Oshawa City Council from its meeting of October 2, 2023 be received for information.

    That Report OATAC-23-28, dated November 1, 2023 be endorsed as the Oshawa Active Transportation Advisory Committee's comments concerning the 2024 active transportation master plan update and that the comments be provided to staff for consideration in preparing a terms of reference for updating the City’s Active Transportation Master Plan.

    That the recommendation concerning Report OATAC-23-28 be amended to add Part 2 and 3 as follows: 'That the 2024 update of the Oshawa Active Transportation Master Plan include a comparison of the projections in the 2015 Plan and the 2024 actual progress to date; and,
     
    That as part of the updated Oshawa Active Transportation Master Plan process, an annual progress report on the plan be produced that is presented annually to the Oshawa Active Transportation Advisory Committee, the Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee, the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee, the Community Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Oshawa City Council as well as published for public information.'
